Mother's Day Wine Pairing - £60
Chosen by our sommeliers and decanted into glass bottles on the morning your order is sent out, this is the chance to recreate our Wine Pairing at home...
This one commences with a half bottle of champagne, followed by a white, red and sweet to match the menu
Aperitif
NV Champagne Deville NV Carte D'Or (half bottle)
A perfect assemblage with great complexity - toasted brioche and citrus freshness.
White
2019 Domaine Laballe Terres Basses Blanc (250ml bottle)
Family-owned since the 1820s, Laballe produce provincial wines of brilliant precision. This blend of gros manseng and colombard makes a fine partner to the veloute.
Red
2015 Chateau Carignan (250ml bottle)
A superb claret to which we return vintage after vintage. Lovely milk chocolate humidor nose and cassis-y Merlot fruit.
To finish
Domaine Pinon Vouvray Demi Sec ‘Les Perruches’ (150ml bottle)
A lighter style of sweet Chenin Blanc, really easy going and well balanced - not too sweet, to go with a pudding that most definitely is!
